This policy explains how CalcHub (the Android app com.calchub.app.calchub), developed by DataRepo Private Limited ("DataRepo", "we", "us"), the Data Fiduciary, handles your information. Information we collect
- Calculations and history — the numbers and conversions you enter. They are processed and stored only on your device and are not sent to us.
- Device and usage data — such as device model, Android version, app version, crash reports and diagnostic data, collected by the app and Google Play services to keep the app working and fix problems.
How we use it
- To perform calculations and unit conversions and keep your history on your device.
- To show ads, keep the app stable and improve it.
We do not sell your personal data.
Advertising
CalcHub may show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address and ad interactions to show and measure ads, under Google's privacy policy. Where required, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. Users under 18 should use it with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without that consent; if you believe we have, email hello@datarepo.in and we will delete it.
Retention & deletion
Data stored only on your device is deleted when you clear the app's data (Android Settings → Apps → CalcHub → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the app. To delete any data we hold about you, email hello@datarepo.in with the subject "CalcHub data deletion"; we delete it within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Email hello@datarepo.in.
Grievances and complaints
Contact: Grievance Officer, DataRepo Private Limited — hello@datarepo.in (subject: "Data request" or "Grievance"). We aim to resolve grievances within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security & changes
